5 needles later…

I had my annual all-over skin check at the dermatologist this morning.  As documented here more than once, too much sun exposure as a teen led me to overcompensate once I hit 25 and not leave home without a hat and high SPF.  The damage caught up with me more than a year ago, though, when a suspicious spot on my nose led to a pre-cancer diagnosis.  Today’s report was welcome.  Nothing questionable to remove.  However from a purely aesthetic standpoint, I had 2 skin tags/2 angiomas and a big mole on the front of my neck shaved off or cauterized.  The five shots were nearly painless and well worth the hassle for me to feel better with these gone.  Guess who’s wearing a high-neck shirt to do the news this evening?

Did it hurt when you had the one on your neck taken off? I have one that my mom has been bugging me about for a long time and the doctor just keeps saying it’s fine so I leave it!

I’ve never had any luck with the skin tags staying gone, mine always grow back. Hope yours stay away.

at least you are able to wear a high neck shirt and still perform your job, unlike others.

    Hi Tara,
who do you go to for your skin? I am in need of a visit and don’t know anyone in the Cedar Valley.
Also I am starting RIPT next week. They said all fitness levels, so hopefully I won’t die after the first workout!

I was wondering why you were in a turtle neck already on the new last night. You did look great though as always. Love reading your blog. I am a daily fan!!!

I have a few skin tags as well mostly under my arms…is it painful to have them removed and do they stay gone? I’m not sure why they even show up.
