Bed Breakthrough

Thursday and Friday nights Sissy slept in a sleeping bag on the floor of HER room.  She and Thomas started out there but he ended up back with Daddy both times.  We agreed it was nice to have more room between us, as only two instead of four legs draped over us or kicked us for a change.  Saturday night we went out and both kids stayed up with the babysitter as they took long, late naps.  So they slept with us and ended up horizontal.  I had to move two feet out of my face at one point.  Tonight we’re giving the slumber party in Charlotte’s room another try.  It’s a start.

Do I read complaining in the above? I hope not!
Your right, it is a start.
School is just around the corner and it would probably be in “everyones” best interest to be in their own beds so they get plenty of good sleep and at their age, it probably is time.
Sleeping in a sleepy bag works, I did it for years myself, actually I would put it ON my bed, because I was too lazy to make my bed, so I slept in my bag! In the winter you were snuggly, cozy, warm!
Good Luck & enjoy the snuggles Charlotte!

Good start. Don’t know if they exist any more, but I used to see “tents” for beds (kind of fit like a mattress pad with plastic frame work). Might make sleeping in their own beds more fun.

I think we have heard this before. They start sleeping in their own beds and the next day they are back with you. Stick to you guns and make them sleep in their own rooms.
