You know that moment, thanks to social media, when someone posts a picture of you online that you had no idea was being taken? Your stomach drops when you discover a notification that you’ve been tagged in an image you didn’t approve. Because let’s face it, the unflattering shots of ourselves are not ones we’d post on the Internet. Yet you can’t always restrict others. And it can be an eye opener of sorts. Yes, I have put on a few pounds this summer. The working out and counting points have kinda taken a back seat to barbecues and restaurant dining. Weight Watchers has always been my go-to plan of action. But what works for you? My mom has had great success with Jenny Craig, though to do it where I live it would be by mail. Curious who else has had success with diet plans that include food in the price.

I had a lot of success with the Take Shape for Life program. Lost over 30 pounds in about 3-4 months time. You eat five of their meals a day along with a lean and green meal of your own. Check out their website at takeshapeforlife.com
Just lost 49.5 pounds. I did not join a weight program, I simply go to the gym for an hour everyday, watch what I eat, watch the caloric intake, and it’s working for both of us.
However I will say, the WW desserts are keeping my sane since I love desserts!
I use myfitnesspal.com….just logging calories and it is completely free. No meals to buy, only accountable to myself, which ultimately is what you want. Educate yourself on wise food choices and move.
You had “know” idea…………really?
Thanks, Diane. I made the correction. Again writing this post on very little sleep!
I have gotten into better than pre-pregnancy shape doing Turbo Fire DVD workouts at home. My sister-in-law Shannon and a good college pal both shed a ton of post-baby weight doing the workouts, so I thought I’d give it a shot. From my initial post-partum weight to now, I’ve lost 31 pounds and just eat sensibly. You look great no matter what you may think, though, Tara!
I dont know tara personally but one thing that really stands out to me is how ‘real’ she seems. As diane knows she probably is not immune to making errors either so i appreciate taras transparency in the days of people being so prideful (facebook/personal websites/anonymous comments/etc). I havent tried any diet plans other than whats already been listed but my idea is to read beth moores book breaking free. I just read it snd i have a good toolbox of ideas for helping me with even my eating. Tara you always look so pretty! Seek Him for your answers and strength.
You are welcome Tara, happens to all of us. I make a lot of typos anymore, and I don’t like that fact that I do.
Ooops I made a typo too!
