Questioning Thomas

I interview people all the time, so why not my son?  Here is a Q & A with my almost 4-year-old, Thomas:

Mommy:  How have you liked being 3?

Thomas:  I liked when I play baseball.

M:  What’s the best thing about being a little brother?

T:  Being with my sister.

M:  Do you think you need to work on sharing?

T:  Yeah.  I do.

M:  Are you excited to go back to preschool?

T:  No.

M:  Are you having a good summer?

T:  Yes.

M:  Why?

T:  Because it’s good and I get to go on a trip and it’s lots more fun.

M:  Do you know how much I love you?

T:  (Nods.)  I love my mommy and my daddy and my sister.

I will never forget when my son was three as it was such a wonderful age! The terrible two’s were over and he just wanted to learn, learn, learn! The four year old stage with those little guys is awesome too, Tara!

Precious! Makes me miss when my little boy was 3 and all the years before he turned 3 and all the years between then and now. He’s a wonderful 32 year old son now.
