Thanks to this viewer email recently sent to the entire newsroom, I am closing out another year of blogging with a smile:
Tara Thomas really needs a hair cut the length does not look good on her.
I know others agree with that please see what can be done about this
Thanks,
She did include her name, which I would not post here. You will find it interesting to know I searched and located her profile picture on Facebook. No comment on my suggestions for her hair. The best part, perhaps, is that she sent the email with a red exclamation point which means High Importance!

YOU ALWAYS LOOK VERY NICE, TARA! Let that remark go in one ear and out the other. She needs to get a life!
Wonder if it was the same well meaning lady who came up to our family in church yesterday and told us we sing too loud. You always look great and very put together. Keep it up.
Was she a hairdresser trying to drum up business? lol
Too much free time on her hands, go visit folks in the nursing home, they would love your company!
For Gosh sake’s!! Some people sure have balls these days. I look at it this way Tara, if it wasnt your hair it would be something else. It’s always something. Doesn’t matter the topic today, it’s just always something negative that she will find wrong. With ALL the problems in this world some fruitcake has nothing better to do than concentrate on a news anchor who ALWAYS looks fabulous! I wish you would have shared her e-mail. A news anchor in Lacrosse wisc at WKBT had a man email her & said she was way 2 fat to be on tv & that she sure can’t consider herself a role model. Huh!!! She is an international example now. She was on the Today show yesterday & is a speaker for how NOT to let someone bully you. They use her as an example all over the world now. Wonder what this negative emailer that emailed you did in school in her younger years…Hmmmm
I agree, some people have WAY too much time on their hands. Especially to focus on and then comment on someone’s hair~get a life woman!
I saw you at Olive Garden this past week. You looked great and happy and that is all that matters! (And I know that you know this too)
I think you look great and do a wonderful job, keep it up Tara and have a great New Year!!!
“I know others agree with that . . ” hahaha. I guess she can read minds?
It is WAY beyond my comprehension to understand why a viewer would pick at a news anchor’s hair style. And furthermore, to send to the newsroom!
WAY TOO much of concern in this world to concentrate on a hairstyle.
YOU are way TOO professional to let such bother you.
YOU ARE A GREAT ANCHORWOMAN…………HAPPY 2013!
