Other parents out there would agree, it really wrecks the routine when your preschooler is home for 19 straight days. The 2-week holiday break plus two snow days mean Thomas has been out of class for more than half a month. I have enjoyed spending so much time with him, I’ll admit. But I can’t imagine how Monday morning will go when trying to resume a regular schedule in freezing temps. Some days we even take naps, which he usually doesn’t get most weekdays . We also stay up later and keep pajamas on longer. I have officially become a fan of Dog with a Blog and Good Luck Charlie–two Disney shows Thomas discovered and now wants to watch repeatedly. That’s in addition to Special Agent Oso, Power Rangers Samurai and Max & Ruby. Our DVR is like a who’s who of kids’ TV characters. And don’t you dare delete anything. Thomas knows the names of specific episodes. He needs to go back to preschool.

I feel you. Some days we have even stayed in our PJ’s all day and done nothing but watch movies and eat! Staying up late and sleeping in, makes me feel really lazy. I know all things will be normal again on Monday….never thought I would look forward to break ending
