I laughed internally when Thomas told Dave tonight what we were going to watch on TV and he replied, “You’re not going to control us.” It’s to that point where we have to vocalize our resistance to the 4-year-old and 6-year-old who attempt to run our lives at every turn. The former had a meltdown this morning because the tags on his gloves don’t match. One is bigger than the other on the inside, hence a slight visual difference that demands Mommy and Daddy cut them off or he won’t wear them. Then don’t wear them and let your hands freeze in the not-water-resistance Spider-Man gloves. Charlotte also has her moments. Every cut or bump calls for a Band-Aid and ice pack from the freezer. Sadly the bigger concern should be how much potential pain dental work is going to put her through because with all the teeth she’s lost and the ones trying to grow in that don’t fit–it could be quite an ordeal. Not looking forward to it. On a brighter note, I still love my kids to the moon and back. But even the people you love can annoy.
