I can’t imagine…

Waking up on New Year’s Day knowing I don’t have to work that holiday or any other the entire year.

Being able to tell my husband in person something about our schedule or the kids since we now communicate most weekdays over the phone.

Coming home for dinner or an evening event and changing out of my work clothes for the night.

Getting to go on vacation in February, May, July & November.  Sweeps months in TV when you don’t get time off.

Sitting down for a meal with my family on a weeknight.  Together.

(Of all the things I will miss about being a news anchor, the above list does not include one.)

We will miss you, Tara; but it’s good that your family won’t have to anymore.

You will be so missed on the news!

Enjoy spending more time with your family and a “normal” schedule. I was fortunate to be a stay at home mom. I can not imagine how you were able to juggle everything. Congratulations on your new position, you deserve it and so does your family!

One thing you won’t miss will be the constant critiquing of your clothes, makeup, hair styles and parenting style!

I don’t always agree with you, but then we are over two decades apart in our parenting years. I have, however, always enjoyed your sense of humor and your willingness to share your life with the viewers.

There is nothing phony about you. You wear your heart on your sleeve. I’m sure you will find favor in anything you do.

Family always comes first. ALWAYS. Although we will miss you terribly we will pull up our big girl panties & go on knowing you are doing what is MOST important.

Tara, it won’t be long before Charlotte and Thomas will be in evening activities and you certainly don’t want to miss those events.

So PROUD of you. You are a great wife, mom and friend!

You will be missed, but more importantly, you will be able to do things with your family that you have not gotten to do!
    How awesome is that?!
So happy for you & Dave & the kids!
