CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (December 2, 2011) The Cedar Valley Humane Society is offering a cat adoption special through Sunday, December 11.

Cats may be adopted for a monetary donation instead of the usual $90 adoption fee. The suggested minimum donation is $10. All cats have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations. Standard adoption processes apply.

 ”Our adoption rooms are full of cats and kittens that came to us during the spring and summer months,” says Bob Citrullo, executive director of the Cedar Valley Humane Society. “We encourage residents to spay and neuter their pets so that we, as a community, don’t have as many unwanted animals.”
