New Leash

My youngest brother and his girlfriend got the boys a new leash for Christmas. It’s a leash for two dogs, and we decided to give it a try on my days off since it was warming up outside.

Walking the dogs with two separate leashes wasn’t a huge pain — but there were some times the leashes got tangled.

But after using this new leash designed for two dogs, I love it!

The length of the leash can be adjusted. I need to shorten Teddy’s side a little bit more than Cubbie’s side since he isn’t as tall yet.

It took a little bit for all three of us to get used to the new leash, but overall I thought the walk went very well. Smoother than I was expecting.

I think the largest adjustment was for Cubbie. He’s used to walking farther out in front than Teddy. Cubs needed to get used to being “attached at the hip” so to speak to his little brother, but soon we all got into a rhythm and no one got tangled!

After the walk, the boys got sprayed down in the tub to get the sand and salt off their legs and bellies. Then they were exhausted.

Once the adjustments are done it looks to be the best idea for walking. They sure were tired at the end Mom probably got a nice breather too.
