Cubbie is a yorkie/pin. He was born June 28, 2006 in Osceola, Iowa. He is black and brown. Cubbie definitely brings fun and adventure to my life. Before, I didn’t know if I could handle a dog, but now I can’t imagine my life without him.
Cubbie absolutely loves playing with other dogs. He loves attention and loves to meet new people. When we go on walks, sometimes kids stop to pet him, and I’m completely comfortable with that. I warn, Cubbie will lick you!
One of Cubbie’s favorite games is “chase.” I basically trained Cubbie to do the opposite of fetch. When he has something, instead of asking him to bring it to me, I say, “Momma’s going to get you!” I chase Cubbie and he just loves it!
A favorite past time of Cubbie’s is ripping up his stuffed animals and leave the stuffing all over the carpet for me to clean up!
He loves to visit Grammy and Grampy’s house (my parents). They’re wonderful about watching him when I have long days at work. He and Grandpa sit in a recliner together. Cubbie has a little spot in the corner and puts his head over the arm rest.
Cubbie’s worst habit is rolling in worms! In the spring and summer, every time we go outside he is rolling around. It’s gross, but he loves it!
Cubster has several nicknames. Legs: because for his body size, he has super long legs that are great for jumping! Bear: because he’s my little bear. Trouble: because if there’s a way to get into something, he’ll find it.

Is your dog named Cubbie because you are a Chicago Cubs fan?
Thanks –
Did you get Cubbie from a breeder? I like the size of Cubbie, not to small not to big. Thanks
