With my mini-vacation I missed a major improvement to our signal strength last week.
A while back we requested permission to broadcast at a higher level. The FCC granted our request, but it takes time to order and install a new transmitter.
KWWL is now broadcasting at 30 KW instead of 5 KW. What does that mean to the non-tech people? If you have been been struggling to get our picture – try another complete rescan to see if you can see us now. If you’ve had problems maintaining a consistent picture lock, this should help.
Even with the increased power, it’s still important to have a quality VHF antenna.
Still having problems after the rescan? We’re still here to help!
