Droid, anyone?

November 9, 2009 1 Comment

I don’t think the hype was anything to rival an Apple release, but even this iPhone owner is wondering if the grass is greener on the other side.

I have a big decision to make. When my contract is up next year, do I upgrade to 3GS or do I go Android?

I’ve read the reviews and watched the demos. But, I need the opinion of an average person and not a tech expert.

Anybody picked up one of the new Droid and willing to write a quick review for my blog? E-mail me or leave a comment.

I’ve tried both and honestly I would have to go iPhone. But, when it comes to mobile devices, my favorite has always been the BlackBerry. I have an iPod Touch, and I am perfectly fine having my iPod separate from my mobile device. I have been the owner of both BlackBerry and LG products and have always been very happy and impressed with both. My recomendation is to stay with Apple. If your looking for a new device Blackberry and LG are my top picks. Also, keep your contract with AT&T. While the competetion between them and Verizon is very intense, I do believe that AT&T is best in most respects namely customer service. Can we all remember when Motorola introduced the Razr and everybody went crazy over that device? Look at the Razr today; it is very obsolete and Motorola has not been able to introduce a decent product into the market since Razr. We’ll see if the Droid is any different.
