Anyone else out there a horror movie fanatic like myself? A friend and I watched “Paranormal Activity 3″ last night and let’s just say-if you live alone well DON’T DO IT!
See I love scary movies most of the time. They entertain, they are fun, they make me shiver and overall it’s a pretty enjoyable experience….UNLESS you have to sleep in a house all by yourself when the movie is over. I thought I was fine after the movie and I bravely said goodbye to my friend and went about my business. Until I started hearing lots of noises and creaks throughout the house. I tried to ignore them but it was like the movie was becoming real life! I decided I was being really silly and turned all the lights on and went to sleep. I will admit that sleeping when it was bright enough to have a photo shoot was a little distracting but it was all worth it to not think about ghosts and goblins.
Things were fine till my alarm went off at 2:45am. Then I really started hearing things. I heard creaks in the shower, noises on the stairs and odd sounds coming from my basement. I got ready in a hurry and didn’t even bother to really brush my hair before I left. As I passed the basement door I sprinted so that I wouldn’t get pulled in by a zombie or something. I rushed to my car and sped out the driveway as fast as humanly possible.
Note to self. Scary movies when you live alone = bad, bad, bad idea

I remember going to a movie with my husband when we first started dating. Never had really seen a scary movie before. Oh my goodness it gave both of us the spooks for a while. Just haven’t been able to enjoy the scary movies.
Remember the original “Carrie” with Sissy Spacek and the moment when she turned to stare at the evil-doers at her prom? Now imagine going home in the dark after the movie and having a racoon stand up in the middle of the road and your headlights turn its eyes red. Wetting your pants in fear and screaming is one thing. Wetting your pants in fear and screaming WHILE on a date, uhm…… Must not have been too revolting as I’ve been married to my date for over 30 years!
HILARIOUS!!! But I can only laugh because I am the same way:) I have put a stop to watching scary movies this past year because I decided it’s not worth it to do that to myself. I am thirty something years old and I still run up the basement stairs sometimes like someone is after me.
Watched it one night with my mom and sister. I don’t really believe in that stuff though. They both stayed over since my brother in law was on a ice fishing trip and my husband works nights. Let me tell you though, if they weren’t there to stay the night, I would have slept with all my lights on~the ending was scary!!!
