Finding someone who is your other half can be the biggest challenge of all. I have found wonderful people throughout my life who have fulfilled one need or another but for some reason I have never found that person who fulfills me like some of my friends claim.

“Oh once you find him you will just know” they say. What does that really mean? Does that mean I have not found him or that I have found him and discarded him like the rain sogged Super Saver envelope full of potential promise I just tossed in my trash?

Maybe I will never know. The only thing I know at this very moment is that life is not so bad living in the in between moment that I am.

Sure, I want to find the right person but am I really unhappy? Not at all. In fact I almost feel sorry for my friends who never lived the single life that I have. It can be very liberating.

Dealing with the challenges of life alone is not ideal but it’s also very eye-opening. You can find yourself so truly in these situations that it’s almost scary. Find yourself. Love yourself and the rest seems to fit into the great puzzle.  It’s wonderful learning about yourself on the way.

Sure it’s wonderful to have that special someone who knows everything about you and loves you regardless but is it really that bad to have felt the fun and challenge of being alone either?!

Plus…I cannot tell you how much it means to me to have you all read my blog. The words of support you offer and the sheer comfort you provide is amazing. It’s so wonderful to have an outlet to be able to express my thoughts. Thank you all.
