How do you deal with stress? For me the instant I am stressed, I get sick which is exactly why I am writing this blog post under a blanket shivering and drinking bucket loads of water.
It never fails that when I take on additional stress and do not deal with it right–it manifests itself on my body. When I moved here I was sicker than I have ever been due to all the stress of moving, packing and leaving my friends. I coughed for weeks and no matter what I tried it would not go away. I started to get anxious and nervous thinking about starting my first day with a lingering awful cough. A News Anchor’s nightmare! I didn’t even have any insurance as it had lapsed from the month or so from my previous job. Luckily many of my parents friends offered to treat me and after a dose of antibiotics I was fine.
Stress can wreak complete and utter havoc on us and I need to find a better way to deal with things. Most days I can channel stress the right way and not let things build up but sometimes it all comes together like a freight train! How are ways you deal with stress? Any advice you can give this stressed out chica?
I will tell you that one way I do deal with stress is by blogging! Thank YOU for providing this outlet for me! I will say this though…having someone to talk to and who listens and offers the BEST advice makes everything worth it. I am beyond thankful to have a person who cares so much and offers so much to make my life easier and better.
