My BESTIE in the entire world and only man who I have ever considered to be that older brother I never had just called me with some exciting news. He got a job as the morning Metereologist in Seattle! When he told me I almost burst into tears. I am just so happy for him I could scream. Seth Wayne is my former co-anchor in Eugene and also my very best friend. I have told many of you in previous posts just how much I adore the guy and now I share in his happiness as much as if it was happening to me! Everyone deserves to be happy and have dreams come true!

Talking to him made me think about my own goals and dreams. The fact of the matter is that life goes by so fast. If we do not grasp opportunities and run with them–time may run out on us. How often have we said that we will do something “tomorrow” or “next week” and then that time never comes?

I am guilty of this too. When I was in Eugene all I wanted was to move closer to home. I got into a zone where all I did was apply for jobs constantly. I made contacts, I called people out of the blue and I made it my full time job to find another job! Well look where it got me! Here with all you wonderful viewers and closer to home as well. However it’s easy to get comfortable and not strive to reach new goals once you have what you wanted. I need to stay on track and better myself daily. I want to do so many things and fit so much into my day! We should never be so comfortable that we stop living! Life is short–made every single day count!
