Today was a mentally draining day. We went on the air half an hour early to keep our viewers informed of the latest road and snow conditions throughout the morning. We had several live shots and updates to discuss and by the end of the morning I wasn’t sure my head would be able to handle much more. Nonetheless I was so glad we were able to keep our viewers informed about all the latest snow and driving conditions all morning. Despite the exhaustion-I felt good about what we did and how we cared for everyone out there who was travelling.
I woke up early this morning and Mr. New took me to work. I was glad he did because the roads were treacherous to say the least. I felt much safer going with him even if it meant I would be without my car for most of the day. When I was done with work he picked me up and made sure I got home safely though he had to have someone pick him up from my house to take him back to work. He arranged all the details so I wouldn’t have to worry. Those little things are so much appreciated from him.
I also smiled when I got home because my driveway was plowed and I knew who was responsible. Don Blau of course! He always makes sure to come over and clean the snow when he knows it’s going to be bad for me when I come home. In fact he texted me bright and early to see if I needed him to come over and help me get to work. What a good guy. I’m lucky to have such kind neighbors and friends.
Please be safe out there!

You all did a great job, really enjoy Shelley Russell, she does a wonderful job!
You better hold on to Mr. New very tight, whoever he is, he’s not of the norm! Most would say “suck it up” and good luck getting to work, you have a long day in front of you.
Be sure to show appreciation to Don Blau for all he does for you. A gift card would be most appropriate at this time of the year. Never take for granted those who do extra nice things for others.
