A part of me will never understand men. They hang on long after the relationship is over. Take Mr. Old for example who has completely exited my brain and who I never even think about anymore. Quite out of the blue comes this text yesterday–
“Hey it’s me! This is my new phone number”
Now why on earth he would think I would give two cents about his new phone number–I have no clue! It almost made me chuckle..almost.
Of course I didn’t respond. I haven’t even heard from him in months thankfully.
It’s like this little part of him that keeps holding on hoping that something might be renewed someday. …
Well buddy I hate to say…you will be waiting your entire life.

Sorry Natasha, but I don’t think this has anything to do with gender. Women do this just as much as men do. The problem is with PEOPLE not being able to move forward with their lives. And that is a very complicated issue. You are right not to feed into this, however.
