It comes in spurts. Every few months or so I will get a slew of people ask me– “Weren’t you in a movie with Ben Affleck” and I chuckle and say …”Well yes …for five seconds”

When I was in Oregon anchoring the 10pm show I was very good friends with our 11pm anchor. We worked closely together and came to know each other really well. One day she asked me to record a few anchoring clips to send to a director friend in England. She said we probably wouldn’t make it in the movie but it was worth a shot. I had barely done my makeup that day but decided to give it a whirl. We recorded the clips and I didn’t hear anything for months.

When the movie came out we went and saw it opening day not knowing if we would even be in it. Suddenly there we both were ! We only have small parts in the movie but it’s clearly me and after that the crazy-ness started. I had so many people contact me and ask about my role in the movie. It’s amazing how many people saw it.

These days it must be playing on television somewhere because I am again getting a bunch of people asking me about it. I have to laugh–it was only a few seconds but wow was it fun! And no..I didn’t get to meet any celebrities but I can always say I had a bit role in a major Hollywood blockbuster!
