The weeks are ticking by and soon Mr. New and I will be celebrating 11 months together on February 17th. Pretty crazy when you think of just how fast time flies. One day there I was sitting alone and in a new city and all of a sudden I am in a solid and wonderful relationship! Amazing. Also Valentines Day is coming up and I am anxious to see what happens on that day. I am however not the biggest fan of the day itself.  It turns into the dreaded “flower wars” sometimes and everyone is comparing what they got to others. Then I always feel bad for those who have nobody to celebrate with on that day. I have been in that situation many times myself and no matter how much you say it doesn’t bother you..I know it does.

Nonetheless I am positive Mr. New will find a way to make the day extremely special for me.

I have a little surprise up my sleeve for one of my co-workers on Valentines Day this year. Nothing too insane but just a way to make her feel special on a day which can be hard for those who are single. I hope she likes it!

I also made my first juice in my juicer over the weekend. I was surprised at just how much juice was extracted from the machine. I fed the chute 6 whole apples and the juice was completely delicious. It’s also surprising that the color of the juice is different from what you buy in the stores. Store bought juice is full of preservatives and added color so it looks far brighter and more colorful than actual juice. The apple juice was a frothy pink color and tasted so pure! I cannot wait to incorporate juice into my life!

I also had another photo shoot over the weekend for a friend. I am slowly getting better but it’s taking time to get to where I want. I wish I could find a class or course I could take to learn step by step how to edit and take better pictures. If any of you know of one–please do let me know!
