Teenage pop sensation Justin Bieber had a hit song “You Smile, I Smile” a while back. Certainly, every time Drake baby smiles it makes me grin ear to ear. But sadly when the little man cries sometimes, it makes me want to cry right along with him! This past week, he started the not-so-fun process of teething. Thursday, he just cried and cried, had tummy problems galore, ran a fever, and was biting down so hard on his poor little fingers. Nothing seemed to make him happy. Floyd had such a rough day with him as our little man tried to cope with the pain. Luckily, that first day was the worst thus far. Some teething tablets, teething rings, and some good rest have put Drake in much better spirits the last few days. And BOY ARE WE GLAD! It makes us so sad when we feel like there’s nothing we can do to make him feel better, and it makes us miss our happy, sweet little guy when he’s that upset. It’s just a part of growing up, I know. And the good news–none of us remember that painful baby process of getting our teeth, so before long it will be a forgotten memory for Drake, too! Thank goodness!

my son loved sucking/chewing on frozen bannas when he was teething
best of luck as u continue on this amazing journey it flies by way to fast
Worth a shot! Thanks!!
Teething tablets work wonders also popsicles or teething rings helped my daughter when she was little if she got really bad tylenol was the only thing i found to calm her
My 5 month old son is getting 5 teeth in. One has finally come through. I found that he really liked frozen wet wash rags. I would wet them then pop them in the freezer for about 20 minutes then take them out & wet them again with cold water & he loved sucking & chewing on this. I’ve tried the homeopathic teething gel & that didn’t work at all & I tried Orajel & he cried everytime I gave that to him because he hated the taste of it.
When my son was teething, he cut 2 teeth at a time. What worked for me was, Humphries Teething Tablets (available at Walgreens), I felt they worked faster than Hylands; Nighttime Orajel, frozen washcloths soaked in apple juice (messy, but he loved them); and then once he was 6 months old, we were able to alternate Tylonel & ibuprofen. We also had a teething toy that didn’t have to go in the freezer that he loved to chomp on. Good luck with the teething, Mr. Drake.
