I am not willing to make this my official before & after photo comparison–but it’s darn close! After I gave birth, it was hard to look at the scale. Now I enjoy it–seeing my progress and hard work pay off. I just started my maintenance program–10 minute trainer–and so far I love it! It isn’t an all out hardcore workout like I’d been doing, but some of the movements are very challenging and great for toning up–which is my goal now that the biggest chunk of weight to lose is gone. Ideally, I’d like to shed about 5-10 more pounds to be in my best range, and toning up with some targeted exercise should do that. You’ve all been so supportive through this journey & I appreciate that very much! At my cousins wedding this weekend, my cousin Will’s girlfriend said, “Kera, you look awesome! I mean–awesome! I don’t know how I’ll ever do it when I have kids someday.” I thanked her and acknowledged it’s not always been easy–but the payoff–fitting into my clothes (some even being loose!) and just being comfortable in my skin again, makes all the sweat and early wake-ups for workouts WORTH IT!
