Our family at the church

I love weddings!  But at this stage in our lives, we’re passing up the “wedding phase” and well into the “baby phase” as our friends are mostly married, and now having kids! (like us!)  But I have a slew of cousins–my uncle has eight children–who have yet to tie the knot.  This past weekend, my cousin Ben and his long-time girlfriend Casey got hitched!  It was a beautiful ceremony and very fun reception.  Drake attended the wedding with us and got in some family holding time during pictures.  Floyd’s mom, oldest sister and her boyfriend watched Drake for us during the reception so we could have a night out on our own!  It was tough, as always, to be away from him, but we had a very enjoyable evening.  I shot video of the wedding a reception, along with some still photos, that I plan to compile into a DVD as our gift to the newlyweds.  We squeezed in a whole lot of family visits during our short weekend, but had an amazing time.  I hope God richly blesses Ben & Casey in this new chapter in their lives:  don’t sweat the small stuff and enjoy every minute you get to spend together!  Love you both!
