The newsroom goes into overdrive during snowy situations–like the one that’s pushing into our state right now! I’m even taking home a news car this evening with gear so I can be on stand by for any crashes, etc. that might happen in my area. The snow stories started last night–and I got a very nice Twitter message from a blogger/IPTV guy who loves to take note of all the headgear we reporters sport in the snow. I was his first “hat of the season” last night!
Tomorrow will be a crazy day for sure! I hate standing out in the snow freezing, but it’s also part of the job that’s exciting, and gets your adrenaline pumping. Please stay safe everyone–don’t drive if you don’t have to!

I saw you on the news that evening and my first thought was what a great hat! You look very attractive in your winter apparal. Stay safe out there and thanks for all of your reports.
YOu look really cute in your hat !
And what darling first hat of the season it is. See you Friday!
Love the hat/hats! You wear them well!!
I think you did a great job today reporting. I just don’t see the point of putting any of you out on the roads in a blizzard warning. I know it’s the news, but reports were to stay off the roads. This post is not a complaint. I like all of you too much to see anyone get harmed. Stay warm!
Loved the hat!!!
Thanks for all you and the rest of your co workers do for the public. Also – I loved the hat!!
You look gorgeous!
Love the hat! Thanks 2 all u guys that report the nasty weather & keeping us up 2 date ! Merry Christmas:)
You look wonderful. You are one of the lucky ones who looks good in hats like that. I would just look silly. Keep up the good work.
