I need some help. With baby on the way, my husband and I would like to make our own baby food. Therefore, we need a food processor. I would also like to use it for other food related chopping besides baby food. So we want something white and reliable. Anyone have any good experiences with a certain processor or brand?
Thanks a bunch!

While our “children” are in their 40′s and 50′s I made baby good with a good old Oster Blender. I had small jars and made food right from the table. Beef roast, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots made a good meal. I would blend up a can of fruit that was low sugar. The small jars were the secret. Good luck and making baby food is a good idea.
I used to have a Cuisinart and I hated it because it was so loud and didn’t really do that good of a job at chopping, blending, etc. I purchased a Kitchen Aid last year and I absolutely love it. It is so quiet and does a great job. I even used it last weekend to make a batch of pesto sauce to freeze and it didn’t wake up my 11 week old daughter who was sleeping in the next room!
I have made my own baby food for both of our little girls using a Cuisinart food processor or sometimes a Kitchenaid blender, both workd will for me. A book I have found helpful with recipes is called Baby Love by Norah O’Donnell and Geoff Tracy.
