Wednesday: Mostly sunny and  hot. High: 90-95. Heat Index: 95-100. Wind: S 10-15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy. Low; 68-70. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers/storms. High: near 90.

Friday: Partly cloudy. High: low 90s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers/storms. High: near 90.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. High: low-mid 80s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. High: upper 80s.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High: near 90.

A weak front is forecast to bring a slight chance of a shower/storm to the area Thursday. At this point the chance of rain does not look very good. Here is the rain forecast from Tuesday evening to Thursday evening.


There is another front forecast to push through the state Saturday. This will give us another chance of showers/storms. Here is the forecast position of the cold front Saturday morning.


Now that the month of July is coming to an end…it is time to look ahead to what August might bring us. The Climate Prediction Center is forecasting more of the same…above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation.
