The Drought Monitor update was released this morning. We are still in a drought but there has been a slight improvement from last week. The reason for that is because of the rain we have had in some locations. Here is the rain estimate across Iowa during the last seven days.

Extreme drought conditions cover 58% of Iowa this week compared to 68% last week.
