Another beautiful fall day. The dry weather will continue through the weekend as high pressure moves across the middle of the country. Here is the visible satellite image from this afternoon.

High temperatures this weekend will be above normal in the low 50s. The only catch is that the wind will be a bit breezy from the south at 10-20 mph.

There is a slight chance for a few light rain showers on Monday but no big storm to be concerned about.

The busy travel week leading up to Thanksgiving looks good here in the Midwest. Dry weather is expected Tuesday through Thanksgiving while high temperatures remain near or slightly above normal.

I have already posted this but since it came out today I thought I would put it in here as well. The Climate Prediction Center has updated the winter (Dec/Jan/Feb) outlook. The forecast for Iowa is near normal temperatures and precipitation. Click here to see the graphics.

Click here is the previous winter outlook.
