Heat and Humidity Increases

July 4 Fireworks Forecast

Our stretch of dry weather continued today and will through Saturday. The temperatures will warm a few degrees reaching the mid 80s Friday through early next week. The humidity level went up a little today and will continue to do so through the weekend making it feel pretty muggy. Dewpoints are forecast to be in the upper 60s to low 70s.

There is chance of showers/storms Sunday afternoon. The chances of rain increases Monday and Tuesday a front slowly tracks across the state. Here is the rain forecast from Saturday evening through Sunday evening.

The maps below show the forecast position of the front Monday morning and Tuesday morning. The front is forecast to be south of the state and moving away. The sky will become mostly sunny Wednesday and remain that way through Thursday. The humidity level will drop after the front pushes through.
