Not much going on in the weather. For this time of year, in Iowa, it doesn’t get any better than yesterday and today. Or can it? How about another day like this? Ok…since you asked. J Here is a visible satellite from this afternoon.
Dry weather will continue through the weekend as high temperatures and humidity increase a little bit. It will still feel much better than it did earlier this week. BUT…things will be changing. The weather will remain dry through much of next week. That is not the change. The change is the return to hot and humid weather. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s and low 90s with high humidity levels as dewpoints get back to the low 70s. This all happen much of next week. Here is the forecast heat index for Wednesday (95-100).
