Wednesday and Thursday will just like today. Hot and humid with a clear sky in the morning with afternoon clouds developing. Friday will be hot and humid, but a cold front is forecast to push through the state during the day. Shower/storms are possible long the front. Here is the position of the cold fronts Friday morning.
High pressure behind the front will give us sunshine for the weekend and a break from the hot and humid conditions. Highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s with lower humidity. The next chance of rain will be Tuesday as a warm front pushes into Iowa from the west.
