A nice Northern lights display

A CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) occured Saturday…radiation reached the Earth and caused a display of the Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) Monday evening. Here are a couple photos from Jennifer Jackson of Parkersburg. Photos were taken around 8:30 PM.

Dike Girl ScoutsThanks to Troop 6569! I got to head to Dike to visit with the Brownies and talk about the weather. We learned about how and why the seasons change…we learned about cloud names…and we told stories about storms. I got a cupcake for the ride home! I enjoyed my time in Dike.
