Thanks to the fine folks at Gary’s Thriftway in La Porte City. Thanks, too, to the La Porte City Lions Club for invinting me to ring the bell for the Salvation Army again this year. In years past the weather has been cold, windy and snowy. This year the Sun came out!

Mid December rain? Could be a LOT of Mid December rain!

Rainfall forecast

A large cyclone is forecast to move through the Midwest over the next couple days. Unusual though it may be, moisture looks quite impressive and some computer models are suggesting over an inch of rainfall!
