Thursday: Partly cloudy. High: low 50s.

Friday: Partly cloudy. High: upper 50s.

It was cold again this morning with temperatures in the 20s. Tonight will not be that cold because of the clouds. Here are the lows from this morning.

The weekend weather will be quiet (dry). Earlier this week there was a slight chance of showers for the weekend but each day we have gotten closer the chances have been pretty slim. I drop the chance of rain for the weekend but left a chance in on Monday. The sky will be mostly cloudy but with a light breeze it is not going to be a bad weekend to be outside.

The rain chance on Monday is low. The better chance of rain will be in central and western Iowa. If we do see rain the amounts will be less than a 0.10″. Here is the rain forecast from Sunday evening to Monday evening.

Temperatures are forecast to warm back into the 50s by the middle of next week. There is a warm front forecast to move into the middle of the country. Right now it looks like the front will remain south of Iowa. The forecast position of the front would give us a slight chance of showers Friday next week.

Here is the 8-14 day outlook (Nov 10-16) from the Climate Prediction Center. Above normal temperatures and above normal precipitation is expected in Iowa.
