Here is the snow depth across the Midwest as of this morning.

On Saturday, high pressure will move across the middle of the country and clear out the clouds as the upper level low moves east. Sunday will be a little warmer but it will also be breezy so there will be a wind chill to negate the warmer temperatures.

A cold front is forecast to cross the state Monday with clouds and colder temperatures Tuesday. Another other cold front is forecast to track south across Iowa Wednesday with clouds and again colder temperatures Thursday and Friday. The fronts are expected to come through dry each time.

If you have plans to be out New Year’s Eve it will be cold.
