As we head into the Autumn, the weather can change quickly.  October can be gorgeous, or it can be rather unpleasant.  The temperature typically turns cooler as the Sun gets lower in the sky.  Normal high temperatures drop from around 70 to the lower 50s as the month goes along.  Night time lows fall from the mid 40s into the lower 30s.  Precipitation averages between 2.0″ and 2.5″ for the month.  Most of that falls as rain…but October is also the month when we get our first trace of snow!  Here are the outlooks for October, 2010.
